Boadilla del Monte
When I travel, I combine both places that are crowded with tourists and places that practically never see a tourist. On my trip with my wife we vent to Boadilla del Monte – outside Madrid Spain.
It probable can’t qualify as a touristic destination, Spanish tourism site only list 1 thing to visit Palicio del Infante Don Louis.
The palacio has an orchard that seems quite nice. I recommend to visit it during spring or early summer, as in September flowering, vegetables, herbs are past. Grapes are found around.
Even though the place isn’t buzzing with tourist, don’t worry about getting something to eat. The 65k inhabitants keeps several restaurants, cafés and bars alive. There a lot to chose from, but might require a little walk.
Walks are easy to get onto around this areas, of course you can go through the city. But from the palace you can easily access a large green area with pathways through the forest like terrain.
Getting there is easy, take the metro to Colonia Jardin and change to the light metro (street car like train), which can also take you around the area.
